![]() You could lay them side by side in a space where they can't move much and stack them that way. There is a trailer that will pick them up for you but that only stacks 4 high and in my experience can't make them stay that way (they fall over most of the time). ![]() Analogically to previous, a cow appears on your farm as soon as you buy it. Cows are the last, the most expensive, but the most profitable kind of animals that you can keep. It will also start the production of manure. If you want to use the bale wrapper to make silage, or if you want to store hay to feed your cows, you will need to use a tedder to dry the grass.Īn alternative would be to download the mod that allows the baler to pick up wet grass.įor storage, tip the round bales on their flat sides, pick them up with the telehandler tool for round bales and stack them up as high as you can reach. Providing straw will increase the efficiency slightly. ![]() If you want to have a good result in this game, you must know a lot of things about the bales. It just lays there until I get around to picking it up with a forage wagon. Bales are one of the elements of farming Simulator 19 game. I've never seen grass "dry normally" in FS2015. Just easier to use a single system that frankly most people would never notice was simplified. I don't think you *have* to do so, just if you don't you need to wait a while for the grass to dry naturally before it becomes a valid pickup target for a baler.Īlso it will make you use dry grass to bale since it has no idea what you intend to use the bales for, only way around it would be to have a baler that could either only ever be used to produce wrapped bales for silage purposes, or had a toggle to do so, that would then be set to pickup wet grass. Not sure why, as in real life wet grass would be used, but in FS you have to tedder (which automagically turns grass into hay) before baling. No need to go out of your way to get this! Hope this helps, please feel free to comment if you have any other useful information or a down vote.Yes, you do. There are 3 versions to choose from (2, 3, or 4 fill types). Loose crops, can be loaded from the same loading point into a trailer. It has a 'place here point' (the area with yellow/black stripes - not. There is building under Placeables/Silos named Hay Loft (by Lizard). It took me 2-3 harvests to get it but if you have multiple fields going with this method it wont take long at all. Bales or loose crops can go in and bales of all sizes round and square will be spawned in front of the barn on the ground or loaded directly onto your trailer if parked in the spawn box. Need help with Hay Loft (under Placeables/Silos) I am looking for a way to store the hay and straw bales that I am planning on making once my cattle pasture is built. The rental mod seems to accept these as rentablebut of course that shouldnt be the case. Im not looking forward with any hassle of loading/unloading bales, unless that has been made significantly easier. Personally, I used Field 16 while working on this. The cost for 8 straw bales is 6,200 and 8 hay bales is 9,600. Im currently using a loading wagon since that the easiest way to pick it up and drop it at the sell point, but the limited capacity of the loading wagon means frequent trips between field & selling point. You have to Cultivate Grass, harvest them and then Produce 40 Grass bales. (This is under Bailing Technology) Turn the machine on, collect the straw swatch and it makes them into bales. Grass Farming is like Cotton Farming but a lot easier. Drive any vehicle carrying Hay bales right up to the door, to automatically sell your Hay. It is a brown barn with an open door, that has straw visibly spread out on the ground in front of the door. Go buy the "Bigbaler 1290" and attach it to your tractor. Selling Hay In both Bjornholm and Westbridge Hills, there are specific locations where Hay bales may be sold. After you've harvested the field, there should be lines of straw swath from your harvester. If by chance you did disable it, press LB+RB+Y to return your harvester to dropping the straw swath. As long as you haven't disable this earlier, it is set to default. ![]() WHILE YOU ARE HARVESTING YOUR WHEAT, BE SURE THE HARVESTER IS SPITTING OUT THE STRAW SWATH BEHIND IT. After your crops have grown, its time to harvest. Personally I used the "Horsch Pronto 9 SW" since it lets you seed without cultivating the land first. Use your choice of sowing machines to seed your farm. Dunno if Straw works the same, only tested with grass. I´ve the pöttinger, 180 bales of grass won´t wrap, 150´s will be done. I've found an easier way to do this while working towards your acres harvested/sowed! FIRST, BE SURE TO HAVE YOU'RE SEED TYPE SET TO WHEAT. What I do is set baler to make bigger bales as it only wraps 125cm bales so set it too 150 or 180 not too sure on the sizes actually maybe 150 wraps too but big ones dont get wrapped.
